Orange Batman's First Day of Preschool

Jack started preschool yesterday at Holy Apostles. He wanted to pose in all of these pictures as "Orange Batman" known to the rest of us as Wolverine from X-Men.

Jack had so much fun yesterday, and I was so proud of him! No tears were shed by any of us (ok, I was a little proud of me, too, for not getting weepy). He played with Play dough, cars, and listened to a story. He is already anticipating going back next week.

The Nature Center with Grandpa

Today Grandpa Eastland took the kids and me to the Nature Center at Fountain Creek. The kids learned about caterpillars and butterflies. They got to see a puppet show and hear a rendition of one of their favorite stories, The Very Hungry Caterpillar. Afterward, they got to see some different caterpillars, and go on a nature walk.

Our visit with Erica and Blake

Last week our friend from Ft. Collins came to visit for an afternoon. Erica and I used to work at Gene Check together, and she has an oh so precious baby, named Blake (I kind of want to steal him, but don't worry, you won't hear about me in the news!)

Paige LOVED Blakey! She showed off for him, and just wouldn't leave him alone. I think she was happy about not being the smallest for once.
