Back in the Habit

My husband the heathen!
Rich went to the neighbor's Halloween party dressed as whatever kind of nun this is. Looks like somebody's going to confession in the morning!

Ice Cream Mishap

Paige is learning that if she carries any food or dishes, that she needs to carry said items over her head to prevent the dogs stealing it from her. Tonight she had a bowl of ice cream that she was trying to carry to the counter, however, it had mostly turned to soup by this time. She ended up dumping ice cream soup all over her head, and Daddy and I took advantage of the situation: Rich styled her hair while I snapped the photo. I'm sure she'll thank us properly some day. In the meantime, I'm off to give her a shower!

Pumpkin Pie Patch

Last week Jamie and I took the kids to the Colorado Pumpkin Patch. Jack originally referred to it as the "Pumpkin Pie", but it didn't take too long for him figure out that there was no pie involved. I have to note that in several of these pictures, Paige looks pretty disgusted. She wasn't really unhappy being there, although it was pretty windy, which may explain why she was happiest being held.

A little teamwork

Autumn Fun

Wow what a big pile of leaves!

Ok, not so much! Our trees are still babies and don't produce that many leaves. The kids don't seem to mind at all, though!

Gifts from Mexico

Grandma Rosie came back from their condo in Mexico with gifts for the kids. Paigie loved her dolphin t-shirt so much that she proceed to take her clothes off right then and there in order to put her new one on. Jack got a Spiderman Cape which he took a nap in for the first few days. Who said dress up was just for girls?

Breakfast with My Favorite Superhero

Betcha can't guess what Jack is going to be for Halloween! We went early in September to Target to find the kids' costumes. Jack decided he wanted to Superman, and I picked out a cute Lady Bug Fairy costume for Paige. Unfortunately, we couldn't find a Superman costume in the right size for him. He then decided he was not leaving the store without a costume, and said he would be a pirate or Yoda--anything that would get him a costume that night. Obviously I did not let him settle for being something he didn't really want to be, and I promised him we would get up first thing in the morning to get him a costume from another store. He cried all the way home from Target, clutching Paige's Lady Bug Fairy costume the whole way. (The irony of it all, is that Jack has no idea who Superman is!)

Those Darn Paparazzi
