Trick-or-Treat

Our Halloween festivities began Friday afternoon when Jamie and I took the kids Trick-or-Treating in Old Colorado City. I don't know if the pictures really give an accurate depiction of what a zoo it was, but take my word for it...it was! It took us a half an hour to walk down one block and the kids got quite the deposits in their buckets. Luckily Jamie and I were both in agreement to leave after the one block...too many crowds, and just too overwhelming! Paige slept through the whole thing.

It was actually hot on Halloween, so after Old Colorado City, we came home and played outside.

Little Buddies
Around dusk, we took the kids to a few houses in the neighborhood. I don't think they quite understood how to ask for candy, because as they were knocking on doors they were yelling "Trick-or-Treat!", and then would go silent as soon as the door opened.

Your kids are too cute! I can't believe that you braved Old Colorado City on Halloween - I try to avoid driving down there on regular days. You're such a great mom!

Ahh so cute:) Everytime I check your blog and you do something "Co Springsy" or you show snow, it makes me homesick for Co. Is that possible since we only lived there less than 3 years? We are tenatively planning a trip in August. I hope it works out.
