Last weekend we went to Lafayette to visit my mom, Steve, and Deni. This has become a yearly tradition that was started when Rich began running in the Bolder Boulder. We also celebrate my mom's birthday then, too. We decided not to run this year, as I could not get over my shin splints (I'm not giving up on running, though, I got back on the treadmill this morning.), and I don't think Rich wanted to run by himself again. Anyway, we went up to Ft. Collins, for Allan and Michelle's baby shower, we tried going to the Boulder Creek Festival, but got rained out, and we went to the Denver Aquarium (which I will post on it's own because I have so many pictures.) Even though we didn't run, we still had a great time.

Glad to see you guys had fun! It was a rainy weekend, glad you enjoyed it in spite of the weather. By the way - your FIRST funnel cake? That's just wrong!I had my first one actually in Colorado at Pioneer Days... and i've been craving them ever since. I hope you enjoyed it!
